Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust and the University of Warwick we have had huge success at the WPA co-sponsored Forensic Psychiatry conference in Macedonia in October 2016. Success includes acceptance of a symposium on long term care in forensic psychiatry, seven oral presentations on transition in forensic CAMHS, forensic occupational therapy in Europe, Dementia in Prisons, radicalisation and tools for assessments, use of mental health treatment requirements and one poster presentation.

Themes include longer term care in forensic psychiatry, forensic child and adolescent mental health services, older adults and forensic services and radicalisation research. Dr Vivek Furtado, Prof Swaran Singh, Caty Connell and Maria Livanou from Warwick Medical School are involved in these submissions.
