Code of Conduct
We’re building a community based on respect, inclusion, and kindness. By using this app, you agree to the following guidelines:
Be Respectful
- Treat everyone with courtesy, kindness, and respect - just like you’d want to be treated.
- Listen actively, and don’t interrupt or dominate conversations.
- Be mindful of different backgrounds, identities, and perspectives.
Zero Tolerance for Discrimination or Harassment
- We do not tolerate any form of harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or offensive behavior, including comments about race, gender, sexuality, religion, ability, or appearance.
Respect Personal Boundaries
- Everyone has different comfort levels. Don’t pressure anyone to talk, meet up, or share more than they’re comfortable with.
- Always meet in public places on campus and leave space for others to opt in or out freely.
Protect Privacy
- Don’t share anyone’s personal information (name, number, schedule, etc.) without their consent.
- Keep conversations and experiences within the group unless everyone agrees otherwise.
Keep Commitments or Cancel Politely
- If you create or join a meetup, please show up on time. If your plans change, cancel or leave the meetup as soon as possible - it shows respect for others' time.
Report Issues
- If someone makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespected, please use the in-app report feature or contact our team directly (resource.InterDine@warwick.ac.uk). We take every report seriously and may take action such as warnings, temporary bans, or removal from the app.
We're All Learning
- This is a space for growth and connection. We encourage open-mindedness and kindness. No one is perfect, but we’re here to support positive experiences for everyone.
Violations
Users who violate this Code of Conduct may be, depending on the severity and nature of the behavior:
- Given a warning
- Temporarily suspended
- Permanently removed from the app,
