Yes. The app is part of a feasibility study examining an intervention that can support the networking and socialising of university students. An aim of the intervention is to support the wellbeing of a wide range of students.
The main component of our intervention is the InterDine app that allows users to create and/or join an eating meetup. The app brings students together at mealtimes or breaks, to socialise around a meal, snack or coffee. Additional components of the intervention include volunteer students undertaking a ‘peer promoter’ role. Peer promoters will organise regular group meetups during term time. This will be supported by promotional material and a (social) media campaign, including short videos.
We have developed the InterDine app and intervention, and, for this study, we would like to examine whether students think the intervention is acceptable, usable and feasible.
You’ll receive a separate information sheet and consent form with full details if you choose to take part in the study.
