Awarded PhD Health Sciences Students

Congratulations to the following students who have been awarded their PhDs:

Maartje Kletter, who has been awarded a PhD in Health Sciences for their PhD on ‘Co-design, implementation and evaluation of a ‘Learning from Excellence’ programme for Community Health Workers in Neno, Malawi’. Maartje was supervised by Celia Taylor and Bronwyn Harris in the division of Health Sciences.

 

Haleema Masud, who has been awarded a PhD in Health Sciences for their PhD on ‘Reducing the affordability of tobacco products in Pakistan: A political economy analysis’. Haleema was supervised by Oyinlola Oyebode and Paramjit Gill in the division of Health Sciences and Sharifah Sekalala.

 

Daniel Mensah, who has been awarded a PhD in Health Sciences for their PhD on ‘The epidemiology and drivers of healthy, sustainable diets in sub-Saharan Africa’. Daniel was supervised by Oyinlola Oyebode in the division of Health Sciences and Rob Lillywhite.

 

Alexandra Brinzaniuc, who has been awarded a PhD in Health and Social Studies for their PhD on ‘Exploring smoking behaviour in homes with young children in Romania through a capability lens: a mixed-methods study’. Alexandra was supervised by Clare Blackburn and Wolf Markham in the division of Health Sciences.

 

Edmond Ng, who has been awarded a PhD (by Published Works) in Health Sciences for their PhD on ‘Analysis of dependent data from cluster randomised trials in public health and healthcare research’. Edmond was supervised by Nigel Stallard in the division of Health Sciences.
