Meet the Operations Team

Dr Helen Muir

Head of Operations

Responsible for strategy and planning, staffing, governance, financial management, and operational systems, processes and delivery across the Directorate of Warwick Applied Health.

Dr Anne-Marie Brennan

Senior Operations Manager

Manages the systems, processes and day to day activities in a number of key areas, including research management, directorate administrative support and employee lifecycle. Assists the Director and Head of Operations to deliver the new vision and structure.

Agnes Chu

Operations Coordinator

Supports the operations in WAH such as travel booking, purchasing, communications (including WAH bulletin), recruitment support etc..

Dolores Towers

Directorate Support Officer

Supports the operations in WAH such as HR, interview support , Ongoing employment/staffing activities queries and updates.

Rachel Morgan

Directorate Support Officer

Supports operational day to day activities, including research/finance admin processes and directorate administration. Supporting the Director, Head of Operations and Senior staff.

Senior Project Manager

Responsible for the management of project deliverables and operational delivery of a diverse portfolio.

Project Officer

Working across WM-ESG projects within the Warwick Evidence research team

Louise Law

Project Officer

Working on the NIHR Global Health Research Group ORI which focusses on racism and social inequalities in mental health in Brazil. Supports Professor Lisa Dikomitis, the Director of Warwick Applied Health, with diary management and research coordination.

Simon Smith

Senior Project Manager

Simon Smith is a Senior Project Manager and specialises in Global Health projects. Simon has worked in Global Health since 2017 and has worked in Bangladesh, Brazil, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria and Pakistan. He is currently managing the TRANSFORM and ISOBAR projects and previously managed the NIHR funded Global Health Research Unit on Improving Health in Slums.

Philip Simmons

Project Administrator

Philip is the ARC West Midlands Project administrator, also with responsibility for administration for the PPI, Training, Capacity and Development, Equality and Diversity, Theme 2 and Theme 7 teams and the Warwick University lead. He is currently supporting FutureSuture project.

Desiree Stewart

Project Officer

Desiree Stewart has worked as Administrator with the Mental Health and Wellbeing unit since 2014. She is currently working as a Project Officer supporting the TRANSFORM and ISOBAR projects
