WMS has a number of facilities that support and promote a range of research activities. Researchers also have access to a range of facilities hosted in other areas of the university. These research platforms include:

	Biological Mass Spectrometry The Mass Spectrometry Analysis Unit is a dedicated research unit based in the Clinical Sciences Building at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. 	High-throughput Sequencing High-throughput sequencing has revolutionized molecular bacteriology. 	Image Factory The Image Factory hosts a collection of microscopes providing a range of imaging techniques from live cell imaging to single molecule mechanical recordings.
