Background
Professor John Davey has been Director of Warwick’s Research Technology Platform programme since it launched in August 2014. He was appointed Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research Infrastructure and Governance) in May 2017, and works with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) on the development and implementation of Warwick’s infrastructure strategy. He is a member of the EPSRC’s Strategic Advisory Team for Capital Infrastructure.
John was previously Head of Biomedical Cell Biology and Associate Dean (Research) in Warwick Medical School. Although no longer leading his own research group, he previously worked on understanding how cells communicate with each other and how we can influence the communication processes.
