Research Interests
The West Midlands Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy Project. This is a large scale project to evaluate the new joint agency approach to investigating unexpected infant deaths, from both parents and professionals perspectives. It is a mixed methods project involving surveys, case note analysis and in-depth interviews. Completion is due in 2013.

Joanna Garstang is a NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow and Specialist Registrar in Community Paediatrics.
