Nicole qualified as a physiotherapist in Germany. She gained a BSc in Physiotherapy Studies and an MSc in Physiotherapy and Education from University of Brighton and was awarded a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2017. Nicole has worked many years as a physiotherapist in various musculoskeletal and sports setting, before pursuing a career in academia. In addition as an early career researcher, she works at a private clinic in the West Midlands.
