The MB ChB Digital Education Working Group meets every 6 to 8 weeks. Students are welcome to bring their ideas to these to the working group meetings and join in discussions.

MB ChB Academic Technology Team also act as liaison point between IT Services, Digital Library and MB ChB students and staff to help make the most effective use of the digital tools and services available at Warwick.

iPads in medical education

We are very excited that during 2021/22 academic year we rolled out the provision of iPad mini devices to all MB ChB students. Students and staff can find out more about this exciting development in our Guide to using iPads in Medical Education. We will be sharing top tips with you from the students who have experience of these devices in medical education.

Social media can provide really supportive social networks. As with all walks of life their are pros and cons to using these platforms. What is Generative AI?

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools create ‘original’ digital content (text, images, multimedia, computer code, etc.) based on online content and metadata on which they have been trained. Users provide text prompts to request a particular output and the tools create this output within seconds.

Warwick’s position is that, as part of digital transformation, we must embrace and engage with these tools at an early stage to understand the appropriate, suitable and ethical use of them for general administration, research and education.
