Morning session details

As per the programme, the day begins with the opportunity to hear from key members of the MBChB team and University faculty who will give you an overview of the curriculum and things you might like to think about or prepare for before you start with us in September.

The session will start with an introduction from some key people who you’ll get to know really well when you start: Dr Greg Moorlock, Phase I Academic Lead, Dr Helen Poulton, Block 5 Lead and Phase 1 Deputy Co-Lead and Dr Mark Richards, Deputy Senior Tutor and Phase 1 Deputy Co-Lead.

There will also be some short presentations from key teams across the University - Accommodation, Student Finance and Disability Services - and you will have time after their short presentations to ask any questions you have.

Finally, you will have the opportunity to hear from current students including MedSoc and representatives from other societies.

Afternoon sessions details

We will provide lunch, and then transport everyone across campus to the Clinical Education Hub.
