Year 2
Core modules
In your second year you will study the following core modules:
- Food: Nutrition and Malnutrition
- Infection: Prevention and Outbreaks
- Interactions: Environment and Genes
- Applied Research Methods (from 2026/27)
Optional modules
In addition to the core modules, in Years Two and Three you will choose two optional modules, one per year. These may be WMS options, which have previously included: Introduction to Clinical Skills, Health Psychology, Clinical Pharmacology and Drug Safety, Exercise Rehabilitation, Clinical Trials, Understanding Psychological Trauma, and Reprogenetics, or any other University-approved optional module. For example, you could choose a module from the Institute of Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL), a language, or a module from Warwick Business School.
