Why did you decide to study medicine at Warwick Medical School?

The reputation of medical schools in the UK is well known. Medicine in the UK is an advanced field that provides more opportunities for an international student to chase their dream of becoming a good doctor and specialise in their favoured specialty.

I chose Warwick Medical School because it has the largest graduate entry course in United Kingdom. I love being a part of the medical community in the school. Their anatomy course is so superb and provides constructive learning opportunities with the plastinates and cutting-edge training.

How did you find the transition to life and study in the UK?

To be honest, it is not really that challenging. I've tried to find my pace here by finding a part-time job in the main campus and involve myself actively as a part of the community. It can be difficult sometimes in terms of culture and communication factors but I become less worried as time goes on.

How have you found the MB ChB so far and how have you found your overall Warwick experience as an international student?

The MB ChB course is so amazing, I love how the course provides us adequate space and time to explore clinical opportunities and gives us plenty of time to make our own schedule. Some of the highlights are excellent support and guidance from the staff.

What tips do you have for other international applicants?

Open your arms and heart. Be prepared to get involved to make the most of your clinical pathway.
