Physics Fellowships - Expression of Interest

The Department of Physics at the University of Warwick welcomes candidates interested in applying for externally funded fellowship opportunities. To apply with us as your host institute for an Early Career fellowship, please submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and a CV. Please see the guidance below for details on how to complete the EOI and CV, as well as downloadable templates. Some early career fellowships do not have an internal selection, but a mentor must be agreed to support applications and an EOI/CV should be submitted. For those with an internal selection process, such as FLF/ERC/URG/ERC SG/RAEng RF, the selection process is detailed below. Generic and bespoke (FLF, ERF, RAEng RF) templates can be found below.

Ernest Rutherford STFC Fellowship (ERF) - internal selection deadline for 2026 will be announced later in 2026. Candidate will need to provide the EOI at the top of the page and a CV & Track Record.

For your information only at this stage - the (ERF) template is below - but please do not submit the template below for the internal sift - it is very similar to the standard EOI above. As as some candidates have already started using the standard EOI, above for the ERF, we we will use that for the internal sift. The forms are very similar but different, and it's fair and best if all candidates use the same template - please use the EOI template at the top of the page.
