Contractors

Those who engage or could engage contractors to carry out work at or on behalf of the University must follow the correct procedure.

If you are thinking of bringing in a contractor to complete works you will become the Requisitioner for this work.

The Requisitioner must work with a Departmental Representative to validate the Health and Safety credentials of a contractor before they are appointed.

No department can engage a contractor until their Departmental Representative has been able to establish that the contractor meets the requirements of the University contractor approval process
