Edoardo Carnio, 1st year PhD student in the theory group with Prof. Roemer, has been selected to receive the Alumni prize 2015 of Freiburg University, Germany. The price is in recognition of an outstanding MSc thesis entitled "Multipartite correlated dephasing" that Edoardo completed 2013-2014 at Freiburg, working in the "quantum optics and statistics group" of Prof. Andreas Buchleitner. The prize will be awarded at a central university event in Freiburg on July 3rd, 2015. Congratulations to Edo!
