PRIZE

The Royal Astronomical Society invites nominations for the Fowler awards. These are awarded to individuals who have made a noteworthy contribution to the astronomical and geophysical sciences at an early stage of their research career.

Nominees may be of any nationality, however significant parts of the work should have been carried out in the UK or with facilities in which the UK has a recognised interest. They should have completed their PhD no more than 10 years preceding the time of application.

Two prizes, worth £500 each, are available.
