Description: The talk will give a general overview on experimental research on the two linear
laboratory plasma devices PANTA at Kyushu University and Mirabelle at Nancy University.
The main topics of research are identification of instabilities, evaluation of fluxes
and transport and investigation of nonlinear couplings. Measurements are taken with
electrostatic probes and a fast camera. Temporal and spatial dynamics of plasma structures
are studied by using complementary diagnostics and by exploring different analysis methods.
