Research open evening
On Wednesday 28th November the Department will have its annual Research Open Evening. This event will start with a short talk in PLT at just after 4.30pm about postgraduate (PhD and MSc by Research) degrees at Warwick, suitable for students to attend. Undergraduate research projects (URSS) will also be discussed. Afterwards (from 5pm), there will be posters on the concourse, highlighting the exciting research done across the department. Staff and PhD students will be on hand to talk about their research areas. There will also drinks and nibbles.
The event is a great opportunity to learn a bit about the new areas studied in the department, and to talk to potential PhD, MSc (Research) or URSS supervisors.

UKRI Deadlines
Due to the implementation of a new UKRI funding system (TFS) there will be a fixed quarterly deadlines for some grants which would previously have been on open calls, this is to allow necessary system amendments and updates.
The first deadline after implementation will be 28th September 2023 and applies to those calls listed below:
