All other call details remain unchanged. *** The Science and Technology Facilities Council invites applications for its PATT travel grants. These provide travel and subsistence support for telescope time at STFC’s astronomy facilities. Applicants must be permanent members of staff or otherwise hold a fully tenured post within an eligible UK institution. Observers are eligible to use the funds awarded in support of an approved programme of observations if they are one of the following: •the principal investigator, co-investigator or their nominated representative; •employed as a research assistant or researcher co-investigator on a research grant; •students attached to an eligible institution whose credentials have firmly established them as bona fide observers. Funds are provided for groups that have an expenditure that exceeds £5,000 per year over two years.
