The Natural Environment Research Council, under the Central England NERC Training Alliance consortium, invites applications for its PhD studentships. These support PhD students in conducting their research projects at a hosting university. Studentship are offered under the following areas: •climate and environmental sustainability; •organisms and ecosystems; •dynamic earth. The call welcomes and encourages candidate initiated PhD projects. UK and EU students may apply. Studentships cover tuition fees as well as an annual stipend of £15,285 and a research training support grant of £8,000 over three and a half years.
