The Royal Society invites nominations for the Clifford Paterson medal and lecture. This recognises a researcher in the field of engineering. Citizens of a Commonwealth country or the Republic of Ireland, or those who have been resident and working in the Commonwealth or Republic of Ireland for a minimum of three years, may be nominated. Self-nominations are not accepted. The award includes a medal and a gift of £2,000.
