How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Innovate UK UK-Israel open collaborative R&D competition

Innovate UK, on behalf of UK Research and Innovation, under the EUREKA framework, invites applications for its UK-Israel open collaborative R&D competition. This supports collaborative, business led R&D projects that should result in a new product, industrial process or service. Projects can be from any technological or market area, but must be innovative, involve a technological risk and target large global markets. Proposals must demonstrate a clear, evidence based plan to deliver significant economic impact, return on investment and growth through commercialisation as soon as possible after project completion. They must also demonstrate a clear, considerable potential to significantly impact both the UK and Israeli economy or productivity in a positive way, and show the benefit of participants from the two countries working together. Projects must focus on industrial research but some experimental development activities may be funded.

UK businesses of any size may apply and must collaborate with at least one Israeli business. UK research organisations and organisations from other EUREKA member states may participate.

Up to £1.5 million is available from Innovate UK for UK projects with total eligible costs of between £200,000 and £250,000 each over up to two years. Israeli funding is in the form of a conditional grant worth up to 50 per cent of the eligible R&D budget. The proportion of funding provided for eligible costs depends on the business size.
