Dr. Ravi Singh
Research Interests:
Ravi worked in the Group from 2010 to 2012 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under the guidance of Prof. Geetha Balakrishnan. In 2012 Ravi return to India to take up a full-time faculty position in the Department of Physics,
at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Bhopal,
Ravi's current research interests are centred around the properties of strongly correlated electron materials including those exhibiting superconductivity, magnetism and other unconventional properties. He is also working on topological insulators and superconductors. His research work can be divided in three sub fields, (a) single crystal growth and sample preparation, (b) measurements of magnetic, thermodynamic and transport properties and (c) muon spectroscopy and neutron scattering.
