PhD Research
I am investigating high temperature superconductivity in nickel oxides under the supervision of Prof. Geetha Balakrishnan and Dr. Daniel Mayoh.
Background
I completed a Master of Physics (MPhys) degree at the University of Warwick in 2025. For my Master's project, I investigated the optical and structural properties of the metal halide perovskite CsPbBr3-xIx following quantum confinement in carbon nanotubes, supervised by Dr. Reza KashtibanLink opens in a new window. In the summer of 2024 I completed a 3 month research project through the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS) on the synthesis and characterisation of 2D skyrmionic magnet Fe3GaTe2, supervised by Prof. Geetha BalakrishnanLink opens in a new window and Dr. Daniel MayohLink opens in a new window. In 2024 I carried out a literature review on high temperature superconductivity in hydrides, supervised by Prof. Paul GoddardLink opens in a new window. In the summer of 2023 I completed an internship at ICMG Japan in collaboration with Global Thermostat performing data extraction and analysis on carbon sequestration projects utilising direct air capture of CO2.
