Salary: £33,966 - £44,263 per annum

Join the Terabotics team to help make a difference in the fight against cancer!

 

The position is funded by the Terabotics Programme Grant which is an £8 Million pound project spanning three universities (Warwick, Leeds and Exeter) working to combine THz techniques with robotics for faster diagnosis of cancer. Joining this exciting project will give you the opportunity to work with a world class team led by Professor Emma MacPherson, and give you experience in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.

Your research goals will be related to developing reliable methods for implementing THz imaging and spectroscopy techniques for detection of skin cancer and other skin conditions. Particular focus will be on developing and integrating novel THz image approaches to speed up and improve the accuracy of terahertz data acquisition and analysis. You will need to have strong analytical skills with experience in Matlab / Python and have experience in THz spectroscopy or other relevant optical techniques.
