Many congratulations to Maria, who successfully defended her PhD thesis on 21st October. Maria's thesis on "Ultrafast terahertz and optical spectroscopy of 1D van der Waals nanomaterials" describes her work on carbon nanotubes and transition metal dichalcogenide nanotubes.
