Location & travel

HQL2021 will be hosted by the University of Warwick. The university is located in the heart of England, 3 miles (5 kilometres) from the centre of Coventry (the UK city of culture 2021). The campus is in a countryside location, bordering the county of Warwickshire and close to the towns of Warwick, Leamington Spa and Stratford upon Avon. Delegates may enjoy relaxing in the 700 acres of rural parkland on campus. More active delegates may enjoy the benefits of access to the Sports & Wellness Hub.

All meetings will be held in the Scarman meeting and conference center, with the meeting room being especially equipped to support a hybrid in-person/remote meeting. Accommodation is available either at Scarman itself, or (at lower cost) in the Jack Martin student accommodation, a short walk across campus from Scarman as seen on the interactive campus map.

General information about visiting the University is available here, with more specific information for conference travel here. International travellers must follow the national requirements to enter England during the Covid-19 pandemic. Please contact us if you have questions about travel, as the situation remains quite fluid.
