Attaching magnetostrictive patches to the sample

Please tell us if you see any issues with attaching FeCo patches to your samples - would the attachment need to be removed right after testing

Would the patch be left in situ for a long time - how long and why?

Is the use of epoxy resins allowed for attaching patches to the samples that you identified - if not, are you aware of what adhesive could be used.

Are you aware of any adhesives that you think would be interesting to look at for attaching patches to samples - particularly at elevated temperatures (how high ?)

Would there be any issue with leaving copper wire coils in with the patches that might be insulated by a polymer - would a different wire insulation material be acceptable - if so, then what?

Would the attachment of small permanent magnets with the patch be acceptable - potentially NdFeB, AlNiCo, ferrite, SmCo

Would the patch be installed under another component - eg heat or noise insulation material - and would it be possible to get some wires out to an accessible point outside the insulation.

What type of guided wave test do you think is most appropriate and why
