The Skills team helps ensure all Warwick students are ready for life after graduation - and equipped with the skills they need for a successful future.

The new Warwick Award provides official recognition for the skills development activities that students take part in within and alongside their studies. The Award launches on 3rd October 2022 and students can join at any point during their course. It is optional, free to join, and includes streams for UG, PGT, exchange and degree apprenticeship students. The Warwick Award will be administered through the GradIntel digital platform, which will enable students to assess their skills, receive tailored activity recommendations, track their progress and record their reflections.

The Warwick Award recognises a wide range of activities including some academic modules, sports and societies, volunteering, part time work, caring responsibilities and much more. Students can select any activities they like, based on their interests, availability and skills development needs, as well as those recommended by their department. The department has already mapped the skills you develop during your degree to the relevant core skills in the Warwick Award, so if you participate in the Warwick Award, then you will automatically gain credit for these skills.

• Undergraduate students are no longer issued a printed, paper transcript at their graduation ceremony.
• The University of Warwick implemented the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) for undergraduate students from 2012 onwards. The HEAR is made available to undergraduate students via their Gradintel account.
