Entry requirements
  • In order to meet our academic entry requirements, you should have obtained a UK First or Upper Second Class Honours Degree (2:1) or equivalent. You can check international degree equivalencies on our overseas qualifications pagesLink opens in a new window.
  • Non-native speakers of English will need to provide a suitable English qualification.
  • Many of our courses require a STEM or business management related background, but there are also courses open to graduates from other disciplines. Please check the 'entry requirements' tab on individual course pages for the requirements of your chosen programme.
  • Whilst work experience is beneficial, it is not a pre-requisite. We are happy to consider applications from recent graduates and those in their final year of studies.
  • Candidates with a UK 2:2 (or equivalent) may be accepted if they have relevant professional experience. We will usually be looking for at least two years relevant work experience to compensate for lower academic grades. If you have a 2:2 and wish to be considered, please ensure you include your CV with your application.
What you will need to provide
  • A completed application form and £60 application fee
  • Your Personal Statement
  • Your Bachelor's degree transcript (marksheet) and degree certificate. If you are still studying, please send us your transcripts to date. If you are offered a place on the course, we will then require you to upload your final transcript and certificate in order to clear your conditions.
  • English test result (if applicable) This can be submitted after you have received an offer.
  • One reference. If you completed your studies less than 2 years ago, this should be an academic reference. If you graduated more than 2 years ago, we will require a professional reference. We contact your referee directly, so please include their valid professional email address on your application form.
  • Candidates with professional experience should include their CV with their application.
When to apply
  • If you have not yet graduated, you may apply during your final year of undergraduate studies. In this case, if your application is successful, we will make a conditional offer and you can provide final transcripts once you have completed your studies.
  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis from October through to July. Please bear in mind that we will close courses before the July deadline if they reach capacity.
Important additional information
  • Please only apply for ONE of our courses; do not submit multiple applications. If you need advice on selecting the most appropriate course for you, or subsequently think you would prefer to switch to another course, please contact us to discuss. For students requiring a visa, any course changes need to be made before you are issued with a CAS.
  • Please note that we will not offer you a place if you have previously attempted and failed a postgraduate course at any University.
  • If your application is unsuccessful, we will not consider further applications from you for WMG courses. Where we feel it appropriate, we may discuss an alternative course with you before rejecting your application.
  • If you are offered a place to study with us, you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your place. Information about deposits is available here.
