WMG Associate Tutor Independent End Point Assessor, Digital and Technology Solutions Professional (DTSP) Degree Apprenticeship

As part of our exciting BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) Degree Apprenticeship programme, apprentices undertake an End Point Assessment (EPA) as detailed in the DTS Standard (ST0119) assessment plan. We are seeking EPA Assessors with technical expertise (typically evidenced by a relevant postgraduate/doctoral qualification and experience) and the ability to conduct assessments in Software or Data or both. Assessors will need to have flexible availability w/c 28th of April and w/c 5th of May for the traning and practice presentations and w/c 19th May and 26th of May for the final presentation. You will be fully supported and trained for your first couple of sessions. The contract for this post will be hourly paid, and actual pay will be determined by the work undertaken. Each assessment is allocated a total of 5.5 hours per presentation. This includes activities such as reviewing projects and portfolios, delivering practice or formal presentations, and marking, composing, and uploading feedback. The number of allocated assessments will depend on the type of expertise and the number of available assessors.

The 5.5 hrs will be paid £32.60 per hour. You will be paid £26.23 per hour for any required mandatory training.

Associate Tutors support delivery of existing modules and courses. This occurs through support of small group teaching/seminars, assessment and project supervision. Associate Tutors are affiliated with an Education Discipline Group and are part of the WMG Community. We are seeking individuals with either an academic or relevant industry background who are committed to an excellent student experience, have appropriate teaching experience and are able to work flexibly. Associate Tutors primarily work with postgraduate students, studying both full and part-time. The teaching delivery model is based block teaching providing flexibility in commitment.
