Warwick Celebrates WMG Postgraduate Research - Friday 26th July 2024

If you have been informed that you have been awarded your Degree you should also have been contacted by the Degree Congregation Team.
They will email you an information pack that includes details of your ceremony and how to register.

Your ceremony will take place in the Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre, at 3.00 pm on Friday 26th July 2024 (you and your guests MUST be seated by 2.30 pm).

Your information pack will contain brief details, and you are instructed to visit their web page for full details and follow the instructions for completion of the online registration form. It is important that you register online to confirm your details.

Lunch

In recognition of your achievements, WMG would like to invite you to a seated hot buffet lunch after the ceremony. We would like to welcome you for a sit-down lunch at Scarman Courtyard at 11:30am.

You and one personal guest can attend the lunch free of charge and children are also free of charge. Additional guests are welcome to accompany you to the lunch. However, we request you pay a contribution of £15.00 per person for additional guests over the age of 16 years.

Places are limited, therefore please complete the lunch registration form as soon as possible and by 4.00pm Friday, 5th July 2024 at the latest.

Payment for additional guests must be made in advance of the event at the time of registering for lunch places using the online form. We are unable to accept payment on the day.

Timetable for the day

11.00am	Arrive Scarman Courtyard, Drinks
11.30am - 13.30pm	Lunch, Scarman Courtyard
12:30pm - 14.15pm	Collect tickets and robes
The only time you can collect your tickets for the ceremony is between 11:30am - 14.15pm, this includes any additional tickets you wish to collect in addition to the two tickets you are automatically allocated. You will also need to collect your robe at this time. To avoid long queues, we do recommend that you arrive early to collect additional tickets and your robes (you will need to order your robe in advance when you register for the ceremony).
From 13:30pm	Graduands and Guests to take their seats in Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre. No entry will be permitted after 14.30am
15.00pm - 17.00pm	Graduation Ceremony takes place
