Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town with more than 800 years of history, and was the birthplace of William Shakespeare in 1564. It contains many historical buildings and is also a thriving community offering a wide variety of leisure, accommodation and shopping experiences.

Your afternoon trip includes a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace which has been beautifully preserved. Holy Trinity Church on the banks of the river is Shakepeare's final resting place, where he is buried alongside his wife, Ann Hathaway.
