These more specific signs found in the details of the email that you can look for them more carefully.
⚠️The sign:
The company or organisation domain or email looks slightly different, it might be spelt wrong or has an additional symbol for example ( –, .) or an additional number. For example, instead of @uk.tesco.com it would be @uk-tesco.com or @tesco-uk.com.
✅What to do:
Type the exact domain into google and look at the results. If you do not find anything that says this domain is for a specific company, then it is probably spam. Ignore it.
⚠️The sign:
The email is asking you to share personal information about yourself including (full name, bank number, ID number, Personal home address..etc)
✅What to do:
None of the respectable, organisations, companies, recruiters or employers or even recruitment and job websites will ask you to share your personal information via email or message. So, if you receive an email asking you to share personal information for a job, then it is probably spam, so delete it.
⚠️The sign:
The email is too good to be true or the prize you win if you do something is very high. For example, congratulations you have just won USD 10,000…etc. If it sounds like it is too good to be true it probably is not true.
✅What to do:
Unfortunately, these things very very rarely happen. So, if you receive a random email with something that is too good to be true or so easy to do for such a big reward, then its most probably spam and fake so ignore or delete the email.
