VPN

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network is an addition security and privacy measure you can take online.

What is VPN?

VPN: Is a security and privacy measure that you can take that would prevent others online from tracking your activity or have access to your online personal information.

Think of it this way:

Without a VPN is like sending a letter with your personal information to the post in a see-through and transparent envelop. With VPN is like sending the same information in a black non-transparent envelop.

The VPN is particularly useful and important when accessing public Wi-Fi networks or Wi-Fi networks from sources you do not know.

VPNs are quite easy to use, many of the VPN networks have a free version you can use, and would just require you to create an account on the provider and then install the VPN on your device which could be a computer/laptop or a mobile phone.

Often the free versions of the VPN networks have limited features, to get the full benefits and full list of features you are required to pay.
