Warwick Economics Summit 2010
The 9th annual Warwick Economics Summit takes place later this month and with over 400 students expected to attend is the largest student-run academic conference of its kind in Europe. Organised by the Warwick Economics Society, the student-only summit takes place between Friday 19 February and Sunday 21 February and tickets are selling fast.
Sexual Health Awareness Week (SHAW 2009)
The Centre for the History of Medicine at the University of Warwick will be holding the first ever Sexual Health Awareness Week (SHAW 2009) from Monday 23 November to Friday 27 November. This will be the first dedicated week of its kind on a university campus and will take place just before Worlds Aids Day (1st December).
Warwick International Development Summit 2009
WIDS will take place on campus from Friday 20 – Sunday 22 November. One of the largest student-led development summits taking place in the UK, it aims to encourage a critical debate among the leading political actors of today and our students to raise awareness of development issues.
Warwick and Nanyang Technological University launch a new Double Masters Degree Programme
Warwick has launched a new double masters degree programme in International Studies with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The NTU-Warwick Double Master Degree Programme is a joint initiative from the Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS), at the University of Warwick and the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at NTU in Singapore.
