The University of Warwick has kicked off the festive season by teaming up with Leamington-based community centre, Brunswick Hub, for a free evening of food, music and creativity, as part of its ongoing effort to support staff, students and residents tackle the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

A new UK-wide study is looking to give a voice to people who became parents for the first time during the pandemic, in order to learn how they can be best supported.

Students from six local schools were welcomed onto the Warwick University campus for the first in-person outreach event since the covid-19 pandemic. The event, featuring marathon runner Nick Butter, was part of the University’s wide-ranging programme of activities designed to break down perceived barriers, challenge myths about university, and encourage young people to aim high.

On 6th December, the new Faculty of Arts Building will open its doors to students, staff and the public. The £57.5m eight storey building, designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and constructed by Bowmer + Kirkland, brings together a diverse and international mix of minds from all walks of life, creating the optimum environment for generating a universe of ideas.

Scientists from the University of Warwick will be leaving their labs and striding on stage next week to entertain and amaze audiences as the Christmas Lectures series returns next week.
