Results Release Dates and FAQs
How and when you will find out your results depends on your type of course and level of study (e.g. if you are an intermediate or final year student). This page will take you through the key results information to help ensure you know what to expect, including:
Results Release Dates 2025-26*
- Postgraduate Taught Students (awards only) - Thursday 4th December 2025
- Postgraduate Taught Students (awards only) - Friday 26th June 2026
- International Foundation Programme students - Friday 3rd July 2026
- Undergraduate Finalist students - Thursday 9th July 2026
- Undergraduate First Year students - Thursday 16th July 2026
- Undergraduate Intermediate Year students - Thursday 23rd July 2026
*Main winter (late November/early December) and summer (late June/early July) exam board periods only. If your course dates fall outside the main exam board periods, please see the 'How will I be notified?' section below.

What do I need to do if I have been offered 'optional reassessments'?
If you have been offered optional reassessments, you will need to confirm whether you wish to take them by completing the relevant optional resit form. If you have been offered multiple optional reassessments, you may choose to take only some of them. It is important you confirm your choices, as your choice may affect whether you will be able to progress to your next year/level of your course or graduate.
Reassessments are held in the September examination period. If you are offered further optional reassessments following September exams, these will be at the next available opportunity and without residence (i.e. you will be assessed again in the summer of the following year).

What if I want to appeal my result?
Details of the University's academic appeal procedures are available at Appeals. Please note that any appeal must be submitted within 10 University Working Days of the date of publication of your results.
