For 2021/22 entry there will be up to 3 scholarships available to be awarded to the most outstanding PhD applicants. Awards made for entry in Autumn 2021 will include the following:
The full payment of fees (worth up to £24,010 at 20/21 rates)
A maintenance stipend in line with UKRI rates for the two years spent at Warwick ( provisionally £15,285 for full time award holders in 2021/22 but expected to be confirmed in February 2021), and in line with Australian government rates for the year spent at Monash
Travel allowance of £2000 during the lifetime of the PhD
Length of funding: 3 years
Eligibility
Applicants for a Monash Warwick Alliance (Warwick) Scholarship must also be applying to Warwick for a Monash Warwick Joint PhD to begin in Autumn 2021.
Students currently enrolled on a PhD or MPhil/PhD at the University of Warwick will not be eligible to apply.
There is no nationality criteria for these scholarships, and applicants may be from any discipline where the Monash Warwick Alliance Joint PhD is offered.

Deadlines
The scholarship application deadline for this year’s competition is 23:59 (GMT) on Thursday 21st January 2021.
All supporting documents must also be submitted by the deadline of Thursday 21st January 2021.
The deadline for Monash Warwick Alliance Scholarship applications is extended to 23:59pm (GMT) on 23 January 2021. This is to allow applicant ID numbers to be generated for course applications submitted by the original deadline. References must be uploaded by 23:59pm (GMT) on 25 January 2021.
