Monash Warwick Alliance Joint PhD Scholarships (Warwick)


Award Details

For 2022/23 entry there will be up to 3 scholarships available to be awarded to the most outstanding PhD applicants. Awards made for entry in Autumn 2022 will include the following:

  • The full payment of academic fees
  • A maintenance stipend for 3.5 years. This will be paid in line with UKRI rates for the years spent at Warwick ( provisionally £15,609 for full time award holders in 2022/23 but expected to be confirmed in February 2022), and in line with Australian government rates for the year spent at Monash
  • Travel allowance of £2000 during the lifetime of the PhD
  • Length of funding: 3.5 years


Applicants for a Monash Warwick Alliance (Warwick) Scholarship must also be applying to Warwick for a Monash Warwick Joint PhD to begin in Autumn 2022.

Students currently enrolled on a PhD or MPhil/PhD at the University of Warwick will not be eligible to apply.

There is no nationality criteria for these scholarships, and applicants may be from any discipline where the Monash Warwick Alliance Joint PhD is offered.

The scholarship application deadline for this year’s competition has been updated to 25 January 2022, 23:59 GMT.

All supporting documents must also be submitted by the deadline of 25 January 2022.

Course applications should be submitted by 13 January 2022, 23:59 GMT.

Submit an application for study at the University of Warwick on one of the listed eligible courses.
