A new EV charging scheme and increase of EV bays on campus will be coming this summer.

On Friday 22nd March, the multi-storey section of the Kirby Corner car park will be closed for approximately 1 and half hours to allow access to the earth rod pits as part of the lightning protection inspection. The closure will operate early morning between 6am – 7:30 am to minimise disruption.

Alternative parking can be found in the outer section of the car park during this period.

Between Sunday 17th March - Monday 8th April, Car Park 12 (adjacent to the Athletics track) will be closed in order to resurface the car park. Alternative parking can be found in Car Park 13 (next to the Tennis Centre), or Kirby Corner Car Park for staff and visitors.

From Tuesday 27th February - Thursday 29th February, Gibbet Hill Road will be closed overnight from 06:30pm - 05:00am between the Kenilworth Road roundabout - Leighfield Road roundabout to allow carriageway resurfacing. On Thursday 8th February 2024, a number of parking bays within the Gibbet Hill East car park will not be available for general parking to support the safe manoeuvring of the vehicle collecting the temporary cold store containers.
