Central Campus works
We’re starting to see the start of exciting changes to the centre of campus, as hoarding is erected around Car Park 7 ahead of its demolition, ready for construction to start on our new Faculty of Arts building. The next phase of building for the Warwick Arts Centre will also be commencing.
Both these significant projects are expected to be completed in 2021 – creating a cultural heart at the centre of campus that is inviting and expressive, enabling creativity and innovation to flourish in distinctive and high-quality spaces. We will see some disruption, noise and dust as the work begins, but the University is working closely with Willmott Dixon, Mace Group and Bowmer & Kirkland to minimise disturbance and to enable our student and staff community and our many visitors to keep up to date on what’s happening between now and 2021.
We’ll be installing imaginative art work to fill the hoardings later in June, and we will share more details of what’s to come for both projects later in the Summer term. In the meantime, see here for more information on car park changes and contact emily dot brett at warwick dot ac dot uk with any enquiries.
