Setup Temporary AV Equipment

As a consequence of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the return to campus and a very high demand for Hybrid technology related support we are presently handling each request on a case by case basis, subject to available staff and equipment resources. We apologise if this results in a lower than typical level of service.

This service aims to provide a basic temporary Audio or Visual solution only in spaces without any existing AV offerings. Most centrally timetabled rooms (CTTRs) or committee rooms will have better quality AV equipment than what is available through the temporary setup solutions.

AV Services can provide and deploy portable data projectors, laptops, small portable projection screens and a PA kit that can be set up and configured for temporary use within committee rooms or Centrally managed timetabled rooms to support teaching and meeting activities within spaces that do not have any existing permanent AV installed within them.

Please note that we do not set up temporary equipment to support conferences or events. Please contact Warwick Conferences to get more details.

This service is available to all Warwick staff, unfortunately we do not offer this service for student led events without departmental or Warwick Student's Union support and a named staff member acting as guarantor.

Equipment can be booked through the online booking form, or by contacting the Audio Visual Team on extension 024 765 22463

Most centrally timetabled rooms are equipped with a range of teaching technologies, typically including either a data projector or screen, speaker system and a fixed PC managed by IT Services.

Please take a look through the centrally timetabled rooms and committee rooms to see if these spaces and audiovisual offerings are suitable to your needs before using this service.

Should you find a suitable room for your AV requirements, please book a centrally timetabled room, book a committee room or contact the timetabling team to see if there is a suitable space available that can be booked.

Available Equipment

Availability

We operate on a first come, first served basis, with limited stock, so we do advise booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, this will also help to ensure that there is a technician available to help set up the equipment.

You can book and collect the equipment from us, or have it delivered, between 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and between 8:30am and 4pm on a Friday (normal working days only).

If your meeting or lecture is due to finish later than 5pm, we can arrange for a technician to collect the equipment from you the next morning, providing you will take full responsibility for the safety of the equipment overnight.
