Write equations with LaTeX

SiteBuilder supports LaTeX markup to display mathematical equations in web pages.
  1. Go to the page where you wish to show an equation.
  2. Go to Edit > Edit centre content or Edit right content.
  3. Place your cursor in the visual editor where you wish to insert the equation.
  4. In the toolbar, select Insert a > Maths equation (LaTeX).
  5. Enter your equation in the Maths equation (LaTeX) window.
  6. Enter a human readable version of your equation for accessibility purposes - e.g. 'a squared plus b squared plus c equals 0'.
  7. Select Insert. The markup displays in the visual editor wrapped inside the [latex] tag – for example:

[latex alt='x equals minus b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus four a c all over 2a']$x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$ [/latex]
  8. When you have finished editing your page, select Publish. Check that you can see an image of your equation in the published page – for example:

x equals minus b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus four a c all over 2a
