The Research and Academic Services Section of the Library brings together individuals with a wide array of specialisms and areas of interest all focussed on helping University of Warwick Researchers to:

• Use specialist search tools and databases to locate scholarly or primary information;
• Select the most appropriate venues for publication and support you in navigating the publication process;
• Communicate the sources you find through effective referencing and avoiding plagiarism;
• Develop understanding and competence in research data management and open access publishing;
• Arrange bespoke training for students or research groups in relevant information and research skills;
• Provide guidance on the use of research metrics and alternative metrics;
• Support your use of others' copyright and intellectual property and guidance on protecting your own.
