This Horizon 2020 project, led by Professor Vasilios Stavros (Department of Chemistry) and Dr James Lloyd-Hughes (Department of Physics), aims to increase plant resilience to cold stress and stimulate growth under different conditions using a breakthrough concept called molecular heaters. The proposed method can greatly reduce yield losses and extend growth seasons.
