This scholarship is tenable for 24 months from April 2024 or 18 months from September/October 2024, including six months of Japanese language education, with no prior knowledge of the Japanese language necessary for most subjects. Research or study can be undertaken in almost any field so long as it is related to a grantee’s field of expertise or previous study, and this is for those who intend to obtain a Master’s, professional or doctoral degree in Japan.

This isn’t a formal session. It is designed to try to give you as much information and support as we can as you start preparing. At the end are all the questions that we received at the online sessions together with the answers. There is a slide that gives you the times and dates of the international meetings, please join as many as you need or want to.
