Funding Opportunities via the Student Mobility Team for 24/25
The Student Mobility team is delighted to confirm that students who are going overseas in the 2024/5 academic year who are undertaking a study abroad programme either for work or study will be eligible to receive a minimum of £600 (called the Warwick Mobility Bursary – WMB) towards their international experience. This funding will be allocated after students have already started their placement so please ensure you have a sufficient level of funds to support yourself without this until Christmas. Instructions on how to obtain the WMB were sent to students on 25th October 2024. We have been successful in our bid to the UK Government for Turing Funding for 24/25, however this funding can only be distributed to students who meet certain criteria. We also contacted students who we believe could meet this criteria on 25th October 2024. Students eligible for Turing funding will not receive the WMB but Turing funding instead. There is more information about Turing here. Those eligible to apply for funds through the Turing Scheme shall receive a higher level of funding than the Warwick Mobility Bursary.
