Use of a Computer

Adjustment

Use of a computer to complete an exam.

Why?

Students may have untidy or illegible handwriting attributable to a Specific Learning difference or medical condition, or may have difficulties organising their work on the written page due to dyslexia.

Students with physical disabilities and/or dexterity difficulties can often find typing easier than handwriting.

Students with visual impairements sometimes can only use a computer because of the assistive software required for magnification purposes or screen reading purposes.
