Library Assistance

Library assistance invloves facilitating acces to books and resources in the library. This kind of support is usually recommend for students with a visual impairment, mobility difficulties or a specific learning difference.

It does not involve supporting the student in planning and organising work or in doing research on their behalf.

Typically you may be asked to fetch items from a shelf or help a student navigate round the Library and reach books.

The Library has low level printers, seperate quiet study rooms, priority desks, height adjustable desks and a wide range of services that customers with disabilities may benefit from. Find out more from the Libary pages for customers with disabilites.
